About Us

Winter Nature Camp is a fully outdoor program for children ages 3 to 12, operating in public parks and beaches around Atlantic Beach. Classes run Monday through Friday, 9 am to 2 pm, from late August to late May, with weekly summer camps available in June and July.

Our curriculum blends the Cedarsong Forest Kindergarten approach, emphasizing nature immersion and child-led learning, with the Lifeways philosophy of relationship-based care, including low teacher-to-student ratios, seasonal crafts, music, and storytelling. Our teachers are trained and certified in both models.

This camp grew from a love of outdoor exploration and meaningful learning experiences. With a passion for connecting children to nature, helping them discover their own strengths, nurturing them holistically, Winter Nature Camp was created to answer the question: “Why shouldn’t school be fun?”
